clothing style, Hermione is a conservative dresser, however while her time in hiding is not akin to being a prisoner it does not give her ample opportunities to be ahead of the fashion scene. During her time in school she always stuck to regulation uniform and never wore anything that would cause problems. The only time she wore something that gave the indication she was into fashion was during the Tri-Wizard tournament before she had been forced into hiding. There, when she went to the ball with Internationally Renowned Seeker Viktor Krum she was commented to look 'like a girl' by her friends. It was the only time in her life that she dressed herself up for the simple reason of wanting to look pretty. She never has enough time to do so in normal situations. Between studying, trying to create new and more helpful spells and charms and keeping herself alive through hiding she has no real time to stand in front of a mirror and put some make up on. no matter how much people complain about it and her lack of effort.
On an average day now, Hermione sticks to comfortable unrestrictive clothing. A habit put into force due to being on the run. If there is a chance that she would need to leave or fight she knows that being restricted by clothing is not a viable option.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

patronus, Otter - Hermione's memory that she conjures for her patronus is a simple one. One where she and Viktor Krum danced at the Yule ball in her fourth year. vividly she remembered how safe she felt when he held her, how cherished and protected she was. Yet it was not that specifically which provided the memory she cherishes. It was, rather simply, her first kiss. In the moment where Viktor took her outside to see the moon before her spat with Ronald and Harry the Seeker had taken her hands and told her how spectacularly beautiful such a 'leetle flower' could be and yet still retain a brilliant mind. It was simple, and very sweet. But it had been the first time anyone had called her beautiful and indeed, meant it.
boggart, The day Hermione went into hiding she returned to her childhood home in the muggle world. Only to be faced with the image of her parents bodies strewn and bloody across the living room. Their mangled limbs showing a struggle, and the blood .... proof of their torture. That image has stayed with the young muggleborn ever since.

overall personality,
From the moment she caught wind of her being a witch, Hermione jean granger made sure that she as a muggle-born would not be outdone by those born into the world she was set to join. Reading any and all texts so that if anything were to come up in conversation she would not be left in the dark. She would not be outdone by someone simply because of her birth. Then again, that was the first moment she realized how great the gap between blood status' truly was. From the first moment she met one Draco Malfoy on the train to Hogwarts in first year and he snubbed her for her 'unfortunate birth' she strived to better herself in every field. Never letting someone as chauvinistic as Malfoy soil her chances of showing the world exactly was someone from 'unfortunate birth' could achieve. Hermione strives for and almost always achieves any goal she can get her nimble little fingers latched onto. whether it be the latest work assignment or a simple spell she is intent on mastering there is never a shortage of determination and thirst for sauces.
That is not to say she is looking for the celebrity that comes with being the best at a field. She has always detested the title of 'brightest witch of her age' and constantly snubs it whenever it is raised in conversation. However, no-one has seemed to notice her disdain for such a name. Always referring to their resident bookworm whenever they needed any research done quick and thorough. She was their -go to- girl in many respects within the order. At nineteen she is of age in both the wizarding and muggle world. There is little that she will not find -unless blood wards prevent her from getting a snippet of information. And for that she is thankful. Her goal orientated work ethic sometimes comes off as boorish or in some respects a waste of time. She is a young girl, in the prime of her life and yet she spends her time hiding with her nose in a book, running away from the world around her. A world that, quite frankly, frightens her to no end. One that is out to kill her.
Though she is not the only one in hiding, After the fall of Hogwarts Hermione took it upon herself to bury into her work and research more firmly. Ending any and all relationship that could have stemmed with Ron Weasley, she gave him no time and he in return had no patience for her constant planning. She is lonely and cherishes any human contact she gets. But is more withdrawn and quick to snap at anyone who is in the wrong. Hermione is more like the girl who threw a punch at Draco Malfoy, the same girl who stood in front of Harry in the shrieking shack, who called for a werewolf to save her friends and professor ...
Hermione is now hardened, a member of the Order of the Phoenix and very harshly critical of her own person. There is no room for errors in her new world. One mistake could cost another life. And she would not be the one responsible.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

overall history,
-Born to Jean and Harrold Granger in a muggle hospital
-raised to be a very conservative little girl, being an only child she never had the chance to go outside and truly play as a girl, therefore having no need to get messy and dress in anything other than neat, clean clothes. Her parents made sure that she cleaned her teeth regularly, being Dentists they knew what was best for her and her diet was maintained into adulthood, only eating mass amounts of sugary substances to spite her parents or her strict schedules.
-went to a muggle primary school at the age of 4, having shown great intelligence from a young age she quickly excelled through school, being picked on for her overly bushy hair that boys would constantly pull on. She disliked it immensely and became very self conscious about her hair and her teeth as her parents were always so focused on them.
-Hermione showed her first bit of magic, managing to float herself a glass of milk from the counter and changing it into fresh orange. Much to her parents distress.
-By the age of nine she was far ahead of her classmates and studying more advanced, older material and picking up subjects faster than many would believe. she made her parents and grandparents on her fathers side very proud. Her mother was adopted and her legal parents had long since died. Hermione's Grandpa and Grandma were very close to her, they taught her the love of books via their massive collection of novels and texts that they stored in a mini library in their spare room.
-Hermione's grandparents died, leaving all their books to her at the age of ten. She finished them all within the next two years.
-At the age of twelve, Hermione and the other Granger's were interrupted in the middle of their Sunday lunch by a very stern looking woman in a green velvet cloak. She hand delivered a letter to Hermione pertaining to her acceptance into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It took four weeks to convince the muggle parents to both believe in and truth the old woman and entrusting her with the care of their daughter. Forcing the woman to give her word that while under her care she would be well looked after and not forget to maintain her teeth.
-When she and her parents went to Diagon Alley the first time with Minerva McGonnagle as their guide they were finally introduced to the world that, to Hermione seemed to sparkle with a vibrancy her life before could never even imagine.
-During her visit, Hermione made her parents buy every book on the subject list and a few more for light reading. One of which was her copy of "Hogwarts; A History" which became dearly treasured and which provided during the school years as light reading before bed.
-Hermione met Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley on the train to Hogwarts, Instantly finds the normality of a supposed 'hero' underwhelming.
-was dubbed a 'know-it-all' by both teacher and students
-was attacked by a 15ft mountain troll in the girls bathroom during the Halloween feast after having been upset by Ron Weasley making fun of her. Reminding her of just how alone she was in the school.
-SEE HARRY POTTER SERIES BOOKS 1 - 4
-Became withdrawn and haunted by the Death of her Best Friend Harry Potter and threw herself into her studies.
-Forced into hiding due to her blood status, focusing on joining the rebellion but continuing to study to simply better herself for the event of battle.
-Became a very apt dueler, known for using more complex and unheard of curses than most.
-almost caught a few times by death eaters but continues to hide herself away between her hide out and Order HQ for whatever meetings are called. She has grown ever fonder of Severus Snape for his continued alliance with the Order and double crossing the Dark Lord.
-Perfected a few runic wards, twisting them ever so slightly to suit her own hiding needs.
-broke off almost all contact with Ronald and Ginny, keeping updates to a very basic minimum of a check in once every month via a protean charmed piece of paper which she shares with Minerva McGonnagal- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

"Are you saying that in a fact, instead of aiding my quest ultimately for the man of my dreams I have been going against what nature simply intended of us both? That by my interference I may have truly squandered any and all chance of meeting him under the exact perfect circumstances that were to be provided for us upon our first meeting? Can it be so? Oh I pray not, I wouldn't surly become more disdaining of marriage if that be the case." The princess hurried, speaking quieter and quieter in the end until it became more a whisper to herself under the dark hood. If she had hindered the chance to become a true Queen aside her perfect husband then she would become rather hard.
Linet was sheltered far too severely from the outside world to simply cut ties on a thought such as the perfect husband and let it slip by her. Oh no, she would follow the idea into the ground if it came to such an extent. there was no force that she knew of upon this earth that could stop her when she put her mind and soul into something such as this; her parents long since tired of putting up a neutral front and simply pushing their darling little girl in the hope that she would find someone ... anyone to take her mind away from her true love. Of course, each time a new male was presented to her she dismissed them, claiming that she knew who her one true love was. And that he was not it.
How she could possibly know was beyond all of them, so they simply let her to her own devices, praying that the day would come where she simply forgot all about her prince, or king, or duke ... or whoever it was and wake up into the reality around her. The prospect however of having missed the chance of meeting her true love shook the naive young princess to her very core. She opened her eyes a little wider as the very idea. How could she have been so idiotic to think she could speed up fate; every princess had to go through a period of time before they met their prince. Although the ones from literature all seemingly were married at 16. Rather a young age she felt to be handed such responsibilities.
"yes, I quite agree. It is rude to keep someone waiting longer than possibly necessary. But I am becoming older than many who have married before me. I am told I have a responsibility to wed as soon as I choose my husband. I simply meant to find my true love before I became complacent - Not that i ever would! i never settle for anything less than what is essential! But i did not mean to attempt to alter the moment fate has chosen for me." She mumbled quietly, looking almost as if she could cry at any moment from mossing out on the chance of a perfect life. One that she believed everyone got once they were married.
Truth be told she wasn't completely sure about the whole happily ever after, there were so many stories that came to her form the people about tragedies that had shaken them to believe blindly that happily ever afters were the norm. Then again, she had seen the look shared between her parents; from them there was no doubt that happily ever after came from the love of that one special person in your life. She wanted to be happy like they were, she wanted to be free like they were. To not have worries. After all, she had yet to be faced with something so hard to swallow that she believe otherwise.
there were days that could go by that she simply forgot about the troubles that had been faced by the people around her. Days where she would be allowed to lock herself in her rooms and read until the day was out, or play music, or simply -be-. Those were days she cherished, as they were becoming more and more rare with each month. It seemed that her parents in a way, wished her to take more responsibility and not float around on a bubble of glee. Still; she knew that she would not need to worry about being in any position of true authority for a long time. Her parents would deal with the problems as they came. they were not her true priority in life. Finding that special someone; was.
However, that did not excuse her from her position of making sure her needs were not above the needs of those around her and gently, looking up into the strange mans eyes, Linet spoke very clearly with and air that very distinctly spoke from years of empathy as she raised her hand to rest on his shoulder. "She will find you. Any woman would be lucky yo find herself as your true love. You have a kind soul i believe. One that i feel should aid in your quest." With a short nod, she squeezed his shoulder gently and let her arm drop to her side once more. Taking another long look at the odd man before returning her thoughts to the inner battle that was currently deciding whether she should simply return to the castle.
Then again, what if she was meant to be right here. In the spot where she was standing at that very moment. Fate was simply a confusing thing that she dare not think too much more on for fear that her head might just explode from over thinking!
Quietly, she watched the exchange between the strange man and the salesman, whose expressions was nothing short of furious. Apparently she was to be a good sale. It made Linet feel bad, simply for the fact that she could shell out the money and feel nothing of it. Two pieces of silver was nothing out of her mountains of gold that belonged to her alone, not simply her family. Then again; if she was to play her role she would not say anything that could draw attention to herself. She had already failed once this day in allowing herself to interact with someone who she was unable to place from around the land.
It was an odd feeling, having someone defend her over a few simple coins. Yet it made the young princess smile broadly, her face pinching at the cheeks with dimples as she refrained from speaking out against the verbal bashing the poor salesman was getting. then again, he didn't look terribly remorseful, simply angry that he had lost a sale. Perhaps he was more well off than others and knew that one simple sale like her was nothing compared to his funds already. Despite the absurdity of the thought it made the princess feel slightly better about the situation. Knowing there was to be no starving family at her interrupted purchase made her less wary about leaving. She always did despise the thought of people going hungry. children especially. they were far more adorable than many of the adults that bore them.
Watching with interest at the change of demeanor as the strange man looked over the remainder of the stall, Linet put a hand to her collar, letting her fingers over over where her heart lay. It was a default position, one she used in the palace. There was no reasoning behind it apart from the delight she got from feeling her heart beat under the skin and tingle along her fingertips. It was a simple pleasure and one that very assuredly brought forth a childish grin from the young princess. But it made her more comfortable than hunching over. Hopefully the hood that held her identity was not changed and the others around the market would still be oblivious to her being out of the castle without a guard. One could hope for such small miracles when they were her.
Then again, she had never truly been spoken to as an equal outside the palace walls. Or within them. She was always seen as someone fragile, as a woman, not a person. It was infuriating to say the least; however right now she was pleased to find her disposition fairly pleasant. She admired the man for his truth and openness about his search for his own true love. It made her feel more secure in his presence; plus, he seemed fairly confident around her also. Not treating her as some kind of ... object. Somehow the thought of being objectified in such a way sent nervous shakes down her back. She did not like the feeling at all. It was something of a troublesome subject to say the very least.
In her schooling she would get into trouble from those teaching her as she attempted to tell them how wrong it was that woman be treated in such an odd manner, that they should be separated from men both by career and by very nature. That everyone should be an equal, and there should not have to be any trying at any point to make it so.
With a soft gasp as she watched him pluck from the stall a small pretty bracelet, only to proceed in telling her that she should instead purchase it. In place of the ring. Yet when she attempted to get her words in she was cut off by him, the expression on his face causing her to forgive the rudeness and letting out a gentle 'aww' as he paid for it himself for her. She smiled softly, offering her wrist to him by way of stretching her arm out in front of him and offering a shy smile. She had never had anything bought for her that was so simple, yet for the fact that it would compliment her eyes! "Much as the gesture fills me with a warmth i am unfamiliar with, I must admit that you need not buy me such trinkets. However, I appreciate the sentiment greatly. You are a very kind person ... oh forgive me. for I do not even have a name to associate you with. My greatest apologies!" She gushed, looking with a slight pleading expression. Hoping that she would be provided a name to match the face, and be forgiven for such rude assumptions against this very kind and generous person.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
