you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The street was mainly empty. A tall man, twirling his wand in his long fingers, walked purposely down the street. He had muggle clothing on. The brown of his suit blended in with the featureless brown houses. If it was not for his bowtie, people would have thought him to be perfectly normal. It was pure defiance which caused him to flaunt his magic so easily. He was getting tired of hiding, and tired of running. A muggle park drifted into view. With a slight skip in his step, he moved quickly to his chosen destination. A few children were playing in the remote corners of the park. The area was fairly desolate. The swings creaked in the soft wind. The icy weather had driven away most of the occupants of the park. Ted hoped lightly onto one of the creaking swings.
“Right then,” he muttered to himself and tapped his wand against the swing. It swung forward as though propelled by another person and gravity pushed it back. “Geronimo,” he said to the silence, enjoying the childlike freedom. He pulled out an apple from his pocket, with a triumphant sort of smile. One of the little children at the refugee camp had packed it for him before he left for his little trip. He frowned and took a bite from the red orb. Grimacing, he spat the piece out and threw the remainder of it behind him. “Ah, that’s disgusting. Apples are rubbish,” he muttered to himself, reminding himself of the small fact. With a small leap he jumped from the swing. This was not yet his destination. The swing carried on swinging behind him. A small child looked on confused. He pointed his wand over his shoulder and the wing slowly ground to a halt. Ah the joys of being a wizard with nothing to lose. After all, the Ministry of Magic cared very little about showing magic to muggles. After all, they seemed to only want to kill them.
A slight smile touched his face. In an oblivious moment, Ted happened to find the tree that he had judged to be several metres away was right in front of him. He collided with the large, bare tree and found himself sprawled on the ground. A few birds that had been nesting peacefully, cried out in surprise and flew from their branches. “Ah, yes. Trees,” he muttered. “Bad bad trees.” He was about to get up, but the grey of the sky had given away to an array of clouds. He paused for a moment, taking in the simplicity of the moment. Ah yes, the beauty of nature. The clouds drifted, moulding together and dispersing in an amazing array of pictures and concepts. It all seemed so far away, so peaceful. It was a huge contrast to the chaotic, dark world that all magical folk were trapped in. Especially magical folk who were supposed to be born muggles, like Ted. That is why it was not safe for him to wander alone, away from the shelter of the refugee camp.

"Babe? What're you doing down there?" Ava peered down at her friend, confused. Trust her to find Ted sprawled spread-eagled on the floor in a kids' playground. Wonders never ceased, not in this life. She held out an offering hand and grinned down at him. "This is what happens when you wander off all by yourself. You bump into trees." She had watched from afar the blatant oblivion of his mind, making him blind to everything, including quite sturdy trees it seemed. She should've pounced on him right away but something had kept her back, waiting amongst the shadows. Which was strange in itself really. Ava was not an observer by nature nor by nurture. But there she'd been, watching and letting him hurt himself by losing it and walking straight into the tree. She shook her head of dark waves and dusted the dirt off his shoulders, straightening his customary bowtie.
Cleaning process over, Ava turned her back to him, walking to the swing he'd abandoned and jumping onto the little seat. She wasn't teeny-tiny but she managed to squeeze in quite easily. Her eyes on Ted, expression vaguely curious, she inquired, "London, Teddy?" It wasn't the first place she would've thought of if she was running away. Then again she didn't even know if Ted had 'run away' or if he had just... moved on? She searched his face for an answer then busied herself with swinging. Her legs moved back and forth, power pulsing through them as she swung higher and higher. "Hee hee, I haven't been on a swing since I was like- Well, it's been a while," Ava commented happily, her face falling abruptly and her eyes glazing over in a sort of dismissive expression as she finished the sentence. The last time she could remember swinging on a swing was with Lettie the summer before their parents had died. Her legs pumped harder as she swung herself even higher. She wasn't going to stop having the fun she could because of a stupid memory. Ava swung her attention back to her bud. "Join me?" Whatever thoughts swinging put in her head it was actually starting to feel quite therapeutic and still gave her a child-like thrill. She shot him another grin from behind her mane of hair which was being flown back and forth as the girl swung on.
And why was Ava in London? She could have lied and told him it was top-secret Order business. It wasn't. To be absolutely frank she didn't know herself. She'd just felt too cooped up and claustrophobic in Shropshire that morning. London was the first place she'd thought of on her walk and so she'd successfully apparated there. Here. Not here, in this skanky playground exactly. Ava had landed herself coincidentally (ha, blatantly planned) near Oxford Street, her shopping haven. And so the first few hours had been very cheerful with a lot of window shopping and a small amount of actual purchasing. It all fell under the umbrella term of retail therapy though and Ava was sure it had worked. It had loosened her up considerably and she felt fine about going back to Shropshire in the evening or whenever. After her spree she'd kept wandering around the muggle quarter of the city as opposed to the wizarding area of Diagon Alley. She didn't want to get caught or worse, killed. Even worse, bumping into someone she didn't want to. Meandering had led her to follow her feet to this little park- Lo and behold, there was Teddy! What were the chances. But she was glad to see a friend; almost always glad to see this friend.

It was relatively early for Sadie, despite the fact that it was noon. She wasn't really much of an early riser, hence it wasn't really a surprise that Sadie was walking out of a muggle coffee shop with a coffee cup in her hand, making her way through the crowd of people, that weren't uncommon close to Hyde Park. Sadie avoided the people as she moved towards the park, a book in one hand and a coffee glass in the other; she had work in a couple of hours close by, hence she was just going to spend some time in the park reading and drinking as much caffiene as she could find. She was walking without really having to look where she was going seeing as she knew this place inside out; she knew where every tree was, where every turn was, therefore predicting a path wasn't hard work at all.
What she couldn't, however, predict was the placement of people here at Hyde Park. The place that she normally went to was rather isolated, which is perhaps why she was even less conscious of her surroundings than normal. Unfortunate, really, because the next thing she knew was that she was on the floor, her book out of her hand seeing as both her hands had automatically made their way to save the coffee. The coffee was safe. She sighed, frustration being made apparent in her body language as she turned her head wordlessly to see what exactly her leg had caught on to. Without much effort, she found the source of her fall: A man, who was also on the floor due to her having tripped over his leg. Mind you, it wasn't just any man. It was "... Bugs bunny?" she raised an eyebrow with another exhasperated sigh.
"Oh it just had to be you." She shook her head, crawling forwards a little so that she was no longer half laying on top of the truly strange creation that was Ted Franklyn. They stayed at the same Refugee Camp and she almost considered him a friend. Almost. She'd often drag him along to work, because he had a strange fondness for animals: especially rabbits- and he tended to bring a little excitement to the boring little pet shop that she volunteered at. "Who let you wander out on your own, Ted?" she asked, her voice sounding relatively serious although there was an undertone of Sarcasm that just always stuck around. "It's not safe. You and trees... I can only sense danger." she shook her head, reaching for her book as she scrambled up to her feet, tucking her book by her side as she tried to dust herself off with one arm. "You're lucky my coffee didn't spill," she said, her voice holding a threatening note to it- she was going to elaborate on her threat when she spotted Ted was with someone she didn't recognize.
"Oh, I didn't realize you were with a friend Ted." she stared blankly at the woman who was with Ted, perhaps coming across as a tad bit antisocial seeing as her face held no warmth what so ever; but it wasn't personal. That was just the look Sadie gave everyone. "Hi."

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A familiar voice floated through Ted’s imaginative interpretations of the clouds. He blinked twice before deciding to answer. “Bad bad trees,” he said frowning as though a thought had just occurred to him. “Babe? Did you just call me babe? I never thought of myself to be a pig.” He sunk back into a little oblivion, not too willing to remove himself from the floor. Things certainly looked different from this angle. Waving off her hand, he smiled rather sheepishly. “Nah, couldn’t accept,” he grinned. “It’s rather unmanly of me to accept help from a young lass. There’s nothing wrong with me wandering off by myself. You are merely jealous of my extraordinary adventures and wish I had taken you along,” he laughed, winking up at Ava. They had been together at the refugee camp for awhile now. One year? Perhaps two years. Time seemed to meld so quickly into the present. He accepted her hand to sit up though, allowing his suit to be dusted off and his bowtie to be straightened. A small smile of pride lit his face as she straightened it. Oh, he certainly had great class.
He watched Ava move away, a bemused expression lining his face. He watched her almost childlike innocence burn through as she took her place of a rather small swing. Tilting his head, he smiled at her words. “London? Why not London? It’s fresh and busy and full of people. I like people. Well, I don’t. Not really. I like watching them to be more specific,” he rambled. “You know, it reminds of before my letter. What a sad life i would have had.” He grinned to himself. Truly, it was not possible for Ted to have a sad life. He found the whole thing rather bemusing to say the least. “So disgraceful,” he mused happily. “It’s my idyllic escape swings are.” He leaned back down on the grass, quite happy to remain cloud gazing while his friend enjoyed her innocent moment. A small hum left his lips. “Humming?” he mused to himself. “No, that doesn’t suit you. No humming.”
Hearing Ava’s request, he was about to stand up and join her but found another person sprawled on top of him. He blinked, utterly surprised. Of course, he was only ever called that by one person. “Sadie,” he exclaimed happily to the rather antisocial girl who he tended to follow to the muggle pet shop where she worked. Oh, he did love those rabbits. They were similar to his patronous. Well, rabbits were kind of similar to ferrets, right? Well, what did it matter? “Had to be me?” he asked puzzled. “Surely I’m the best person to trip over.” He sat upright, giving Sadie a quizzical look. As usual, he was not surprised to find no humour upon Sadie’s face. Alas, one day he would get her to smile. Who in this world had messed her up so much?
“Why do none of you think I cannot handle being left on my own?” he said exasperatedly. “After all, it wasn’t me who trip over my legs. Trees and I are friends but all friends have fights.” He tended to ramble in big crowds. Well, two people weren’t exactly a big crowd but he could He shuddered at the mention of her coffee. “Coffee. Vile vile drink,” he said grimacing. Sadie’s address of Ava reminded him that he had to balance the conversation between the two of them. He was sure that this would be rather awkward as Sadie disliked most people on a good day. “Ah, yes. Sadie this is Ava,” he stood up and dusted himself off. “She also seems to think I should not be let out on my own. Ava, this is Sadie, whom if she dislikes you, you’re off to a good start.” He smiled and made his way over to the swing next to Ava. He had a harder time squeezing himself into the seat as he was a man and considerably taller than Ava. He grinned stupidly and kicked off from the ground allowing the swing to settle into a moderate rhythm. “Join us?” he asked lightly.

Ava gave a well-timed snort. "Not the pig," she told him, rolling her eyes slightly. "That was a pretty cute film at the time though. Lettie cried." It kind of made her want to watch something. Maybe when she got back to Shropshire- when they got back? She made a mental note to ask Ted exactly what his intentions were. Ava shot a smirk at him. "Very unmanly." Though he had weak bones, Ted was as good a man as any. He was a gentleman. "I am pretty jel. I mean, why do you never take me? Am I not amazing enough?" She pulled a face at him. It wasn't really true; sometimes when he wandered off he asked for her company. But this was a day when he hadn't, so Ava felt it fair to lay into him like that. Just for a bit of fun.
"Creeper!" Ava shouted from the swing. Watching people, what was he like! Crazy man-child, that's what he was. Then again, she had just been waiting and watching him from the surrounding shadows so, you know, she was being just a leetle bit on the hypocritical side. Ah well, he didn't need to know. Ava frowned at him a little. "So you think every muggle leads a sad life? Bit harsh, Tedster," she commented. But there he was talking to himself again. She shook her head, the wind tousling her hair. Then a girl stepped onto the scene and Ava watched as she walked over to Ted and spoke to him. All she could make out was a skinny brunette. Shrugging, Ava continued to pump her legs, reaching higher and higher until she felt the swing about to give way. Then she slowed down, right about the time that Ted's visitor turned towards her and flung a 'hi' at her. "Hi," Ava replied, grinding her heels into the ground in a halt. The look on the other girl's face was kind of blank, she had rather protruding eyes, Ava noticed. Not the friendliest person, aye.
Crossing her legs, Ava folded her arms across her chest and positioned herself so she could lean her back against one side of the swing. "She's right, as am I," she told him pointedly with a nod. "You know he walked smack-bang into that fat oak tree," she said to Sadie. "I'd say he might have concussion, but if he did he'd probably act a bit more normal so I don't suppose he is." She gave Sadie a sharp smile as Teddy introduced them. "It's not hard to dislike me, so I guess that means there are only high hopes for us." Sure, the chick had a scathing look about her, but who was she to judge? Besides, the scathing-looking were usually the people with the biggest hearts. Just deep, deep inside. And if Ted vouched for Sadie, it was probably worth getting to know her. He may have been a bit silly or crazy but his judgement was pretty much spot-on. "So how do you two know each other?" Yes, it was small-talk, not something that Ava attempted frequently, nor did she commend it (cos she thought it pretty much sucked) but she actually wanted to know the answer to this question. Come to think of it, now she remembered him talking about her once or twice. Sadie... from the pet shop? Something like that. "You work in a pet shop?" Ava asked her as soon as she'd thought of it. Her head tilted and she tried to picture Sadie in a green overall, looking vet-ish. She grinned at Ted as he joined her and figured Sadie wouldn't take up his offer. She looked far too serious and grand to swing like a silly little child.

Sadie raised her eyebrows, the rest of her face betraying no emotion what so ever as she raised her coffee cup to her lips and took another sip. "Yes, tripping over your lanky legs just made my day ten times brighter." she mummbled sarcastically in a monotone, leaning her back against the tree that Ted'd earlier banged into so that she could watch the two people in company whilst being sort of comfortable at the same time. "I'll decline the offer," she said blankly in Ted's direction, not being able to help herself as she rolled her eyes at how awfully childing him and his... friend looked. "And there is nothing wrong with Coffee. Just because your mind is constantly hyper-active and your body can't handle the caffeine, doesn't automatically make the drink vile." She took anoter sip.
Her eyes now shifted over to the girl who Ted introdced as Ava. Hm, strage name. "I'm honestly not surprised," she said dryly in the girl's direction "I'm surprised he hasn't fallen off the swing yet." It was true: Ted's mind was always on so many things at once, that he'd always be distracted by something new and forget what he was previously doing. Or well, that's atleast what things seemed like to Sadie. Her eyes fell back on Ted as she studied him. Frankly, she was shocked that some muggle's t-shirt hadn't caught Ted's attention and caused him to fall off the swing due to him attempting to pursue the muggle whilst forgetting he was swinging.
"We... live close to one another." she said looking over at Ava. Sadie had no idea who this girl was: sure if Ted knew her this well, she'd probably be a witch, but knowing Ted, he'd probably have a few muggle friends too; telling a muggle friend of Ted's that she and Ted were at the same refugee camp would perhaps freak the muggle out a little. Therefore, Sadie just tried to keep details vague; to avoid any kind of awkwardness. A memory charm was hardly much effort: not for her anyway, but honestly- she'd rather avoid having to use magic in the middle of such a grand muggle park. "And yes, I work at a pet shop." she added, sighing a little as she looked over at Ted. "We tend to house creatures like him, over there. But ours are a little more tame." she rolled her eyes at Ted once again, sipping her coffee, determined to get it finished before it got cold.
"How is it that you two know each other?" she added, wanting to find out whether or not this female was a muggle. Sadie didn't actually mare much for who she was or how she knew Ted; neither did she care for any kind of small talk; but if she was going to stick around, she'd like to have known whether she was watching her tongue or not. Living amongst muggles had made Sadie a little... cautious when it came to her identity as a witch. She'd seen how freaked out some of them got at the mention or thought of any form of witchcraft.

] you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “Pretty pretty girl indeed, but rather not my taste,” he said and turned to wink at her. If she had felt it was ok to tease him, he was perfectly in his rights to tease her back. He glanced over the playground, allowing the sense of serenity to wash over him. Ah, it was difficult to find such peace in the war. While he had to admit he liked company, sometimes going off by himself was better for him. Beneath the babble and the strangeness, ted was really quite a complex man, easily capable of brooding. He sighed, allowing his breath free of the constraints of his body. He was content, hidden from the despair of his world.
“Creeper!” he exclaimed, pretending to be highly affronted. “I’m merely a low key stalker. After all, we may have to join them someday.” The last sentence was muttered darkly, very much out of his character. Even the happiest of people were beginning to feel the strain of the world enclosed in suffocating darkness. He quickly swatted the thought from his mind. He did not need to dwell in such negativity on such a beautiful day. “I think everyone leads a sad life,” he said grinning. “At least we can make pretty little sparks to make each other smile.” If he was not in a muggle area, he would have sprouted sparks that formed butterflies and may have promptly chased them or sent his patronous after them. The joys of being light hearted.
“At least it was my lanky legs, Sadie dearest,” he said grinning at the bad tempered girl. “Another person may have made much more of a fuss about the whole affair.” He laughed jovially, brushing aside Sadie’s characteristic lack of sense of humour. His lips tipped into a lopsided smile. He shook his head at Sadie’s decline of his offer. “Now then, where’s your sense of direction Blake?” he asked, smiling as though he held some secret. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the sensation of the wind rushing past his body. “My body can handle it,” he replied, his eyes still closed. “I merely think it tastes vile so therefore it’s a vile drink.” He put his feet down and ground to a halt. His intense eyes searched the rather unemotional child. “It’s a bitter drink, for the bitter,” he concluded.
Satisfied he had thought about the notion, he began to swing again. He merely grumbled at the two’s responses. After all, he was much older than both of them. “You too young ones don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said gruffly, their patronizing beginning to grate on his nerves. While many people thought that Teddy did not easily get annoyed, they were wrong. He was quick tempered and he also got over things quickly. He supposed it was better that way. He never tended to hold grudges. He sighed, trying to wash his irritation away. It was difficult to be a healer when most people did not take you seriously. I'd say he might have concussion, but if he did he'd probably act a bit more normal so I don't suppose he is. A small smile twitched into place as he heard Ava say that. No matter how grumpy he was, he could appreciate that sense of humour.
“Ah, me act normal? I shan’t!” he exclaimed, looking horrified. Ted listened amiably as the two girls conversed. A small frown touched his brow as Sadie avoided telling her any information at all. “She lives close to you too Ava,” he said grinning, hoping to give Sadie a hint. He fell back into silence, listening curiously to how the conversation would progress. Ah, disappointing. Quirks have turned around upon me again, he thought, a goofy grin keeping in place.

Ava pouted at him then proceeded to stick out her tongue. "Hmmfph," she said, flouncing off to the swings, a grin back on her face when she tunred to hop into it. "Never mind, babe," Ava mused to herself, a little melodically, as she swung, her feet high in the air. Teddy's eyes were on his surroundings and she watched, the tips of her mouth curling upwards as she recognised the look on his face. For all his bouncing and excitement, Teddy was like anyone else. Like everyone else. They all needed a bit of peace and quiet from time to time. A bit of calm and unmoving tranquility. Boring old peace.
Eyebrows were raised pointedly at the man trying to sound upset. "Low key stalker. Creeper. The same. You." Ava spoke in short bursts, everytime she reached the highest point on the swing. What was he talking about? We may have to join them? And be creepers? He already was a creeper. Ava asked what exactly he meant by that. Maybe he meant that they'd all have to watch and wait in the shadows, if the war got any worse. To be honest, it's what they should've been doing, if they were being safe. Clearly, safety was never a number-one priority with Ava nor Ted and it didn't seem like Sadie gave a crap either. Ava immediately assumed she was a witch. It was simple. If she'd been a muggle or something, Ted would've given Ava some sort of sign. He was sometimes quite haphazard, but he knew what was going on. Secret genius under all the psychotic tendencies really. Ava smirked as she thought of this in her head and tilted her head to look at him. Definetly secret genius. Fact.
Pretty little sparks. Bless. Sentences flowed from his lips that wouldn't be found out of place coming from a five year-old lass. "Sparks do make life better," Ava had to agree. Her wand quivered under her flapping dress as Ava's fingers twitched. She took hold of the swing again with a sigh. Muggles. Magic fail. Teddy was grumbling now, which always brought a smile to Ava's lips. They burst open as a crimson laugh tumbled out, Ava reaching out to tousle her friend's hair. "If you were normal Ted you'd be far less attractive," she compliemented him, still laughing as she slowed down to talk with Sadie. She listened as the girl replied, extremely cautiously, to her question. "Oh." The ghost of her laugh remained as a smile. She stared at the girl, confusing her as she gave an affirmative on the pet shop. Then she rolled her eyes. "Teddy couldn't be tamed without some Class A sedatives," she said rather fondly, glancing in the man's direction. She looked at the ground, figeting with her hands a little before she took to styling her hair up in a ponytail. "When I ran away after my parents were killed I ran into Ted, literally." She didn't want to but as soon as she'd said it it was like a mini cinema in her head, replaying that awful night. She shook it off and stared up at Sadie, like she was daring her to ask for details. Then Ava's gaze trailed to the ground and she continued. "It's funny that we haven't met, isn't it? Funny that Ted never thought to introduce us..." She turned her face to Ted, one eyebrow raised in question.

"My sense of direction is perfectly fine, Franklyn." Sadie shook her head taking a sip of her coffee. "And your theory makes no sense," Sadie said rolling her eyes, watching Ted and his friend interact with each other. Sure, she felt comfortable around Ted; comfortable enough to actually speak to him, but these two were on a different comfort level- but then again, most people were . It was just hard for anyone to really connect with Sadie partially due to her past and partially simply due to the way she was. She wasn't really much of a peoples' person, hence she always found it rather odd when people sat interacted with one another in such a... comfortable manner. Her instinct always told her to be wary of people and just avoid them in general, because with people, came drama; and with drama, came unnecessary problems. Problems which Sadie really could not be bothered dealing with.
She watched the two ponder on the idea of sparks, when it sort of began to click: perhaps she was a witch. The only kind of sparks muggles knew of were the kinds that were either emitted by those awfully noise fireworks or those rather strange things that they did on machines called special effects. She chose to let the two stay in their happ little world, avoiding interfering as she continued to observe them silently whilst sipping her coffee which was now starting to lose heat. Oh, how tempted she was to simply pull out her wand and tap it to make it warm again. Her eyes had began to wander away from the two in company, when a certain line caught her attention. Did... Did Ava just call Ted attractive? Sadie couldn't stop a rather shocked look crossing her face.
She'd thought of Ted as a lot of things; insane, freakishly intelligent, curious, animated, even more insane- but attractive had never been a word that she'd associated with Ted. Mind you, now that she thought about it, there wasn't really a single male (or female for that matter) who she knew o was close to who she considered to be attractive. Now that she thought about it, she realized that she didn't really judge people by how attractive they possibly were; no. Her eyes fell on Ted as she tried to gather what Ava had possibly meant by attractive; sure he was a good looking guy, but... he was Ted. She looked away from the duo, allowing them to carry on their banter with a bit of a smirk lurking on her face as she wondered whether Ava was perhaps attracted to Ted.
Being absolutely terrible at reading people, Sadie couldn't really know for sure; but she had a bit of a feeling. Intuition, some may have called it. Her eyes reverted back to Ava when she adressed her again- this time, bringing up the topic of her parents dying into the conversation. Sadie wasn't heartless; but she had a rather apathetic attitude towards Death. People died all the time; she didn't really know how to react to Death or console someone who'd lost someone. When she'd lost Jen, Sadie'd just spent a lot of time alone, getting used to the lack of her best friend's presence, and she was getting over it now. "Uh, yeah. I suppose Ted's just got so much going on in his brain that he barely remembers his own name at times." She rolled her eyes at him, looking over at Ava. "Well, atleast I now know someone else at the camp."

Pop!
Kyros apparated into the middle of London, with only one thought in his wicked, twisted mind: capture, torture and then hand over to the Dark Lord any Mudblood or Blood Traitor that he can get his hands on. He had been sent on a mission with another of the Dark Lords servants, Sonea Nyx, to attempt to capture a few known oppressors, or as he liked to call them, those who defy the inevitable. A fair few of those he and his comrades had been ordered to detain were members of Dumbledore’s group that fought against the Dark Lord, the Order of the Phoenix, but some weren’t. Of course, Kyros being a “member” of that organisation meant that he couldn’t reveal himself without making sure that those who saw him committing despicable acts were Obliviated afterwards, so they couldn’t run to Dumbledore and ruin his cover.
Kyros was wearing black robes with the hood firmly up, which cast a dark shadow across his face as he made his way stealthily towards a block of bushes in the corner of what looked to be a children’s playground, complete with trees, a play area and swings. Ducking down so that he was almost completely camouflaged by the dark bushes, he observed the area before him as he always did before a mission of this magnitude and danger. His eyes darted back and forth, surveying the area before he noticed that three people, one man and two teenage girls were sitting near the swings, chatting nonchalantly. Two of them he had never set his eyes on before, however, one of the girls he had met before in a dark alley in Hogsmeade: the girl in question was called Sadie.
A wicked smile invaded Kyros’s face as he observed the girl sipping out of a coffee cup, looking completely at ease with the world as the wind whipped her hair back and forth. His eyes widened and he adopted a hungry, feral look on his face as he continued to bore his eyes into her, never shifting his gaze as a million ideas and thoughts raced through his head, each as evil and twisted as the last. He couldn’t kill Sadie though, at least not until Voldemort has had his way with her after he takes her to Malfoy Manor. After the night where she annoyed him so much he had to curse her, stun her, silence her and threaten her, he still held a burning passion inside his heart to hurt her. She was arrogant, naive and blind and it would be his pleasure to torture her until her mind completely snapped in two.
Eventually, after calculating everything from the wind speed and direction to how his three targets were moving around the playground and where they were looking, he turned his head away from them and looked behind him as he waited for his companion on the mission. Sonea said that she would follow him almost immediately from where they apparated from, Malfoy Manor, but as yet she had not appeared. He closed his eyes and thrust his consciousness out into the area, attempting to find her familiar mind, but he found nothing. Frowning, he wondered whether she had encountered trouble after he left. However, he surmised that she could handle herself and continued surveying the situation, thinking of the best way to attack and subdue his three subjects.

WHEN THE VIOLENCE CAUSES SILENCE• We must be mistaken •IT'S THE SAME OLD THEMESonea apparated close to where Kyros had appeared, eager for their mission, she had taken longer than expected to leave as Lucious Malfoy had decided to engage in meaningless chitchat with her. She was furious with him; he had approached her acting as though he had important news for her and then simply enquired about the health of her parents. The damn fool, her mother was a healer for crying out loud, of course they were healthy. She knew it was of utmost importance that they make a success of their mission in order to please the dark lord. She pulled the hood of her jet black cloak over her head, determined to only reveal her face at the right moment. She wanted to instill a fear of the dark lord in the hearts of those mudbloods, half-bloods and blood traitors. She would have loved being able to take on the members of the order that the deatheaters were to kidnap, but she had been paired with Kyros as the dark lord felt the time had not come yet for her to take her revenge on the order. She was disappointed, but did not question her master’s judgement. All in good time, soon she would have her revenge and all mudbloods would be in their rightful place. She hated the waiting, but knew it was necessary.
Sonea walked up to where Kyros was hiding behind some bushes, watching three figures talking to each other in the park. “How foolish to expose themselves so openly” she said softly, in her thick Irish accent and paused a distance away from Kyros. The three looked so calm and relaxed as if they did not have a care in the world, how naïve of them. She watched the three carefully. One was a male, while the other two were females. The females looked young, and she guessed they couldn’t have been much older than twenty, while the male looked as though he was in his mid-twenties. A piece of dark hair fell infront of Sonea’s view and she carefully brushed it away, ensuring that she didn’t give away their position any earlier than what they had planned. Sonea looked around her, looking for something to set the mood for what was to come, but she was fairly certain that the park empty of all but the five people already there was scary enough. Sometimes it was best to let the mind of the targeted create their own nightmare.
She noticed a wicked smile on Kyros’ face. She turned to see what he was looking at and saw that he was looking at the girl who was calmly sipping coffee. Sonea knew Kyros well enough to know when he wanted to take someone and torture them before killing him. All deatheaters got the exact same look in their eyes. She did not know what was going through his mind in that moment, she had never found the need or inclination to learn legitimancy, but she could still guess what he was thinking. She walked silently and stopped next to him. “Sorry I’m late, Lucious made me believe he had something urgent to tell me and then he simply enquired after my parents” she said softly her irritation apparent in both her face and voice. “So what exactly do we have here?” she asked him, knowing he had had more time to observe the three that sat in the park chatting.
Sonea glanced at Kyros, she was already becoming bored. "You know what screw it" she said and forced her way through the bushes. As she strode, arrogantly towards the three, she threw her hood back with a dark smirk on her face. She with drew her wand, the smirk still on her face. She didn't bother to see if Kyros had followed her. "Confundus" she said aiming her wand at the girl who was not drinking coffee. She didn't even bother to see if her spell had hit the girl before aiming her wand at the man. "And what shall I do with you?" she asked with a smile on her face.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A small shake of his head indicated his distaste for his nickname. Ah, he was no babe. Definately not. Perhaps dashing and charming but not a babe. He found the idea rather appalling. Women were babes right, not men? Well, he would not really know as he was not all clued up about such things. He smiled to himself. Maybe he would just take it that Ava thought he was pretty? He smirked at the thought. Ava and him were only good friends, right? He was pretty stupid when it came to things like this. “Me?” he gasped, flabbergasted. “If I weren’t so creepy, you would not enjoy my company. I mean, all I would do all day is work and fix people and heal stuff. How dull.” He shrugged and continued to enjoy his simple life at this current moment. There was no use thinking ahead or remembering. What was to come would no doubt be unpleasant and what once was is unchangeable. Each thought would only ruin the moment. After all, in a time of war, what person would chose to swing? That thought in itself soured the moment.
Of course, trivial life seemed taboo in difficult times. Ted refused to believe in giving up simple joys for the greater good, After all, was it really for the greater good to not feel joy? It was fairly useless debating the idea for the thoughts only went round and round with no logical conclusion. “Ha!” he gasped at Sadie. “My theory makes perfect sense. Say you had to trip over someone’s legs today, who else would you chose if it could not be me?” He smiled smugly then looked over to Ava. Sadie tended to look a little on the pessimistic life. He was not sure who had done such a terrible thing to her that she had to be so bitter and antisocial. Perhaps one day she would confide in him. He would like that. Beneath all the egocentricity, Ted really did have the potential to care.
He grinned at Ava’s compliment. He certainly did enjoy her company. It tended to be a lot more upbeat than Sadie’s. He flinched as Ava tossled his hair. It made him feel like a little child again. “Oi, gerrof!” he said, laughing and gently pushed Ava’s arm away. “Why thank you dear. I appreciate it so much I will ignore the comment about the sedatives,” he grinned and winked at Ava. His eyes still twinkled playfully as he looked over her. However, her painful reconllection dimmed the playful light in Ted’s eyes. It was hard to remember the pain that Ava had been through when she was so friendly and open. He wished he could take that pain away. Unfortunately, as a healer, he could only ever heal her physical wounds.
He grumbled slightly as they returned to teasing him, however, he did not have chance to reply. The familiar pop of apparition made Ted quickly glance in the noise’s direction. He could not see anyone, but he was immediately tense. Soon enough, a dark robed man appeared shortly followed by a woman. “I think we have trouble,” he cautioned. The woman aimed a spell at Ava. “Ava!” Ted gasped, jumping off the swing and moving toward her quickly. He drew his wand and pointed it at the woman.
“Well, you could do whatever you wanted to me,” he mumbled quickly, not really thinking what he was saying. “I’m sure you Death Eaters have needs...” He stopped for a moment. What the fuck was he thinking and saying? He quickly turned to Ava. “Are you ok?” he whispered, gently cupping her cheek, concern radiating from him. The nature of the spell was not all that evil so he was sure she’d be fine. He was merely afraid for their next spell. If they were Death Eaters or Snatchers, he doubted they’d be friendly.

Kyros didn’t have to wait long before his partner in crime joined him as he surveyed the three targets a hundred or so feet in front of them, sitting and chatting idly as they wasted away their lives. Sonea crept to his hiding place and joined him, accosting them for letting themselves be caught out in the open in such dangerous times. Kyros smiled and nodded, thankful for their stupidity, or bravery, for it made their job a lot easier than he had anticipated. The only other issue that he could foresee was the fact that they were in such an open area, it would be difficult to attack, subdue and transport them to Malfoy Manor without alerting the other Muggles in the area to the ambush. Kyros’s head snapped around quickly as he heard a twig crunch behind them, but it was only a cat that had taken an interest in them. Kyros scowled and sent it away with its tail firmly between its legs as he aimed a kick at it.
Turning his attention back to the three idiots who had decided that they didn’t value their lives, he heard Sonea moan about Lucius Malfoy, the rich aristocrat who owned the unofficial base of the Death Eaters and the Dark Lord himself. ‘Predictable.’ He whispered, never taking his eyes off the surroundings. Lucius was just the kind of person he respected, but also loathed. He loved his nature, his heritage and his riches but he also hated his unfounded arrogance and his son, Draco, who usually pissed him off when they set eyes on each other; oh, how he would love to kill that boy. Looking to his left, he looked at Sonea and said: ‘I think we need to be cautious. Any number of Muggles may appear at any moment, I mean, it’s a busy part of Lon-’ He was cut off as Sonea exclaimed and forced her way through the bushes, making her way towards their targets, withdrawing her wand as she went.
Kyros’s eyes widened as Sonea made her way towards them, and a flare of anger licked at his throat. What does she think she is doing? Marching towards three armed magicians without so much of a plan? Shaking his head, he decided to be cleverer, and with that he jumped from his hiding place and ran, keeping as hidden as he could, around the ring of trees that lined the children’s playground. He ran until he was directly behind the group, at which point he decided to reveal himself and creep up behind them. As he did this, Sonea aimed at wand at the other girl and confunded her, which meant that Sadie was his. He grinned nastily as he outflanked her, walking around so he was facing her. ‘We meet again.’ He drew back his hand and slapped her across her face, using the back of his hand to help the impact generate as much power as possible. Laughing as he did so, Kyros pulled out his wand and muttered: ‘Incarcerous!’, which bound Sadie in lethally tight ropes. Turning his attention to Sonea, he nodded at her and then the older man - who was now trying to help the other girl Sonea cursed - letting her know that she was in control with him unless things got out of hand.

Ava looked thoughtfully at him for a while and then gave an assenting nod. "Can't argue with you there." A normal Teddy would just be somebody else. Like a Fred or something. He wouldn't be Ted Franklyn. Maybe Ted Franklyn's brother. Twice removed (she was sure Ted's family had to possess some of his craziness, after all where else would he get it from?). She let him push her hand away with a shout but pulled a face at him. "Why is it that hardly anyone likes having their hair messed up these days? Or even touched?! It's so weird," Ava pondered. Not that she was upset or anything; she'd known that Ted, just like most other males, hated the hair-tousling, but it was an interesting thing, that. Maybe he'd give them an insight into the male psyche. One day she'd get a man purring like a cat for a little hair-tousling. She'd done it before. Ava grinned at his next comment, shaking her head. "Or you could take the sedative thing as a compliment too, after all, who wants a house-pet for a friend? I could just get a bunny."
Ava's eyes rolled again as Sadie stipulated on Ted's forgetfulness. "So true. He called himself Amelia once, that was interesting," she recalled with a chuckle. Ava's gaze met Sadie's as the girl acknowledged her. Yes, now they knew each other. Whether there would be a semblence of friendship between them, they'd have to wait and see. For now, Ava was comfortable with Sadie's presence. She may have been called anti-social, but the brunette hadn't shaken her off at all yet. Besides as the old saying went: any friend of Ted's was a friend of hers. Most of them anyway.
Teddy's voice rumbled softly on her right. Ava's eyes darted towards him and from him to the approaching woman. It didn't take a Dumbledore to guess her motives. Her wand was out, protruding ahead of her cloaked figure, pointed at Ava. The cloaked woman lost no time, sending a spell in her direction which hit Ava square in the chest like a ton of bricks. She mentally kicked herself as she fell with the impact of the Confunding spell, flat on her back. Her wand quivered under her dress. Ted's shout of her name sounded very muted, like she had just walked out of a blaring nightclub, deafened. He was speaking to the death eater now. Death eater because that's who Ava figured the bitch was. And the man, there was a man who'd come out- Sadie... "Are you OK?" Ava strained to open her eyes, the bright sunlight too harsh at first. "I'm a phoenix, I fly!" She told him, her words sounding slurred like she'd had a little too much to drink. What she was meaning to say was she was an order member and she fought; she could take care of herself.
Confound Confunding spells! Ava sprung up, dislodging Teddy's hand from her face, in a quick movement. Then she tottered a little, as if she was finding her feet with high heels on. Wand, wand, where was her wand?! She looked around for... her bag? Stupid, she didn't have a bag with her. With a low growl she turned to Teddy, who's arm she'd just snatched at to stop herself from falling again. "Wand, Ted, where is the damn thing?" She muttered to him out of the corner of her mouth. Hearing a curse behind her, Ava automatically sprung in that direction, only to come across Sadie bound in chains with that cloaked man she'd heard directing his wand at the former. Unfortunately the momentum with which Ava had darted that way was not yet over. She struggled to maintain the direction of her movement but managed to thrust her fist up into the jaw of the man holding Sadie prisoner. But Confunded and momentum lost, Ava found herself grabbing onto the man's cloak, almost toppling over again. "Stay out, cupcake," she told him, a menacing edge to her rather jovial request, patting him on the chest before she twisted herself back around, facing Ted now. She knew she'd not be able to run either of them out now, not like this. Her best bet was getting Sadie and Ted out of it. Sadie's chains were going to be difficult but she could mange it with Ted's help. Being Confunded was just the epitome of frustration right now. Here they were, asking for a fight and she couldn't bring it.

What happened in the next few moments was shocking. Very shocking. Sadie'd heard the same pops that Ted had; she did have good hearing, but she had been, unfortunately, unable to react as quickly as Ted. No. Instead, one moment a curse shot out at Ava; and the next two wizards; a male who Sadie recognized and a female who she didn't were standing before them. The sight of the male perhaps didn't have quite the desired effect that he might've wanted; the last time she'd seen him, he'd left her in an awfully sticky situation. Lucky for the guy, Sadie wasn't a 12 year old he was normally used to bullying and she'd managed to apperate herself out of there pretty darn quickly despite the throbbing pain in her thighs; now that they met again, Sadie felt more angry than intimidated.
What he did next didn't really help the siutation much. Before she really had time to react his arm reached out and slashed across her face. He. Just. Slapped. Her. Who did that? A growl left her throat as she made to punch him right freaking back, but before she even managed to get an arm free of her coffee cup, he'd shot a spell at her, causing ropes to appear out of thin air, binding her body almost lethally. Partially lucky for her, that her coffee cup slipped out of her hands and dropped on his thigh. A harsh laugh left her throat, but she couldn't relish the feat of her coffee. "What the f*ck is that matter with you, you f*cking sociopath!" She hissed, struggling against the ropes that were digging into her skin. It hurt. It hurt like hell. But she wasn't going to scream. She wasn't going to cry. Her eyes were starting to blur a little but she was quick to blink; she was not going to cry. "When I told you to get some freaking help," her eyes flickered over to the psychopathic looking woman he was with. "I meant to help you sort your screwed up head out, not join in your stupid freaking games!" It was a suprise she hadn't fallen to the floor yet, because she was all but thrashing against the ropes now, which seemed like they wouldn't loosen their hold on her body any time soon.
The pain was literally insufferable. Despite her will, tears came spilling out of her eyes; not something she was proud of in the slightest. She just didn't get it. Did this mentally unstable guy go recruit a friend... just to come and hunt her down?! Ted had it right; these weren't just any people... they were; they were Death Eaters. Or Snatchers. "You lied!" she hissed, unable to see him clearly anymore, but looking in his vague direction, shaking her head to get the tear out of her eyes. "You told me you were a part of the Order! You're a f*cking Death Eater aren't you?! No wonder you had such balls standing out there!" her voice stayed at a low level, but her tone was captivating and powerful. She didn't care that he'd lied: hell, everyone did. No, it was the fact that she hadn't figured it out earlier. Not that she would've cared given any other situation, but with these killer ropes digging into her skin; it really was a different situation all together. "So what, you just go recruit your b*tch and then come hunt me down 'cause I told you you were mentally unstable and really not as goddamn scary or suave as you thought you were?!"
This guy had some serious inferiority-complex issues or something. If he'd just gone all Death Eater mode on a stranger 'cause she'd told him to get some freaking mental help... well, a guy had to have some really low self esteem to let that get to him. Either way: now that she realized, it wasn't just her here. Ted and Ava were here too. And Ava'd been confunded. Oh holy freaking shit. "Ava! Woa-No!" She'd just... oh holy crap, she'd just threw a punch at this sociopath. Well sort of. She was now... grabbing onto his robes? What the hell was she doing?! She was clearly confunded and could barely hold her stance; she was trying to fight it- Sadie had to give her that, but it was sort of overpowering her and Sadie could have really done without Ava catching this guy's attention. She had a feeling Ted could probably take on the woman with a bit of a confunded Ava who seemed to be mumbling absolute crap; but with Sadie tied up... and this freaking insane guy pissed off at Ava too? No... no.
That was not a good thing. "Ted!" She turned around to look at him, giving him a look that rather blatantly said what-the-hell-do-you-think-you're-doing!? Sure, she found him a little overchatty and perhaps even a little annoying: but she didn't want him getting hurt. Not on her accord. Oh for the love of god. She was still trying to fight against the ropes but her arms were getting numb; she could barely feel herself anymore. All she felt was pain. A lot of pain. What she also realized was that the only reason she was still standing was because she was leaning against a tree. Oh thank f*ck for trees.
"Ted," he hissed at him sighing. He wasn't confunded; neither was he tied up. That guy had to be smart and apperate the hell out of here. Right now. "Get out of here! Take her with you. Get the hell out of here!"
