Connor's intelligent. Very intelligent. Always has been. A lot of his personality is based on his intelligence; he tends to research a lot of topics and study a lot of different subjects seeing as he enjoys learning hence he's someone who's fairly easy to get along with seeing as he knows something about absolutely everything. He's also someone who tends to think before he acts. He doesn't like making mistakes, or doing things that he regrets, hence he prefers to think things through.

Unlike most people, he's more brain than heart. He believes that a persons emotions often weaken them; therefore he always makes decisions based on logic and never on how he feels. He doesn't really act on instinct, which is probably what makes him slightly weak as far as duelling and physical combat go. He takes time to process things in his mind, therefore he can never really react quickly enough. The good thing however is that he can think pretty quickly when it comes to saying things.

- couldn't stand up for himself seeing as he was lousy at physical combat
- befriended a group of slytherins / ravenclaws who had sympathies for the dark lord
- was easily influence by them and was 'trained' of sorts by them to be able to stick up for himself and intimidate others
- got cold feet when the group started to show enthusiasm at the sight of extreme violence and became rather vocal about their hatred for muggleborns; one insulted his mother when they were 17 and said that she deserved to have died and that his life was a lot better without her
- saw the 'light' per-se, ditched the group of wannabe death eaters and tried to redeem whatever he'd done while with the group by helping the order once the dark lord fell and ever since he returned
- the 'geek' turned sort of into the 'mastermind' as he now deals in trade and tries to smooth over any laws that the order requires smoothing and deals with any exports and imports or foreign jobs the order may need doing
- never in one place long enough; tends to be on the move a lot
- despite being very much into organisation, his life is a bit of a mess and slightly uncertain
